Review of February Boxy Charm.
Unboxing February Boxy Charm
I am absolutely excited to share what was inside my February Boxy Charm.
So, this is my very first Boxy Charm box. Let me tell you, my jaw literally dropped to the floor when I opened it up. I have to say, I was not expecting as much as I got.
I’ve heard before that Boxy Charm does send full size samples and that they are all worth $100 or more. I didn’t exactly believe that because paying only $21 for $100 worth of makeup was just hard to believe.
But once I saw the quality and the quantity of these products, I had to go online and verify that the products were within that $100 “promised” range. And guess what, they were.

Here’s what I got:
Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion-Age Defying Exfoliator
The first thing I want to brag about is this microdermabrasion. Knowing from past experiences that microdermabrasion treatments are not cheap, I was surprised to get a full size sample in February Boxy Charm. This product is worth at least $79. When I first tried it after I had just cleaned my face, I thought it was a bit clayish, a bit thick but that is what it is suppose to be. It is recommended to use 1-2 times a week for better results. I had already used it 4 times and I think it really did exfoliate my skin.
It helps with the absorption of skincare products and diminishes skin blemishes and fine lines. I was surprised that it did not leave my skin feeling stripped. It was gentle enough and it also really moisturized my skin. I think this is a very high quality product and really brightened my skin, polished it and left it feeling smooth. It’s worth the money. If your skin needs a good microdermabrasion treatment and you can’t afford a doctor, this is the product you want. You can get yours here.
- (TIP) Remember that any microdermabrasion’s are meant to strip your skin of dead skin and may actually damage your skin if done too much. Go for 1-2 times a week to be safe. Always moisturize after treatment and try to go at least 3 days in between treatments. (I do not recommend using any grainy formula like this one for under eye area).
I was so excited to get this little Z Palette because I had a few loose shadows and blushes that I was afraid would get ruined. I got to store them neatly in this palette and now they are safe. Who ever came up with the idea of a magnetic palette is a genius. So many companies sell shadows individually. So it is convenient to be able to arrange all my favorite shadows into one palette. It is now my “favorite palette”; consisting only of the shadows, highlighters and blushes I use most often.
I love that it’s black and has a see through lid. It’s sturdy and the magnet is strong. I tried flipping it open and hanging it upside down and everyone was safe! It came with different sized sticker-magnets that fit all shapes and sizes of my shadows. I strongly recommend you get your own Z palett. They run in sizes small, medium and large. Be careful not to drop it and store it in dry place. Treat it as any other palette.
Omnia Eye Kit by Royal & Langnickel
This eye brush set includes a Shader brush (BOM-40) and a Detail brush (BOM-18) worth $30. The packaging was so cute-looked like a honeycomb. The two brushes are in colors gold and rose gold. They both are very affordable brushes and are actually cheaper if you buy each separate here. The bristles are very soft and gentle but still perform the job pretty well. I actually prefer the soft bristled brushes because I can work better with the shadows. It allows to apply little product at a time thus helping with not overdoing it.
Makeup Geek Eye Shadows
I received two makeup geek eye shadows in the February Boxy Charm. The two colors were deep eggplant purple (Toxic) with a shimmery finish and an ultra-deep raisin-purple with a matte finish called Taboo. Very beautiful, pigmented colors. I love makeup geek cosmetics; they are cruelty free and do not test on animals. You can get these shadows for about $15 each. They swatch amazingly onto the eye lids without having to apply more and more. Elegant colors for Fall or Winter.
Reflecting Gloss by Juice Beauty
This lip gloss is like a fruit, literally. First of all, it’s “organic”. What?! It contains anti-oxidants. What?! It contains acai & gogi berries. What?! And it is full of minerals and sweet agave. Seriously? That’s impressive. First thing that came to my mind when I read the label was like “um, I want this on my lips, for ever!”. Juice Beauty obviously uses antioxidant rich botanical, organic juices to make their products. It’s got to be good for you! It came in a see through, fuax glass container, with silver packaging. Its adorable and the color I got was in the shade Fig. It’s very shimmery but not glittery-shimmer. Just very delicately-sparkly. It’s so smooth on lips and smells like fruit. Duh. The gloss is infused with organic fruit juices! It smells like tropical fruit mixed with chocolate. Anyways, it’s amazing. You need one, today! Get yours here for $15 and get 15% off on your first purchase!
So getting five, full size samples in my February Boxy Charm was seriously-a charm! Hope you sign up to receive these amazing makeup samples too!
